Japan Maritime Daily To Host International Shipping Seminar In Singapore On October 5, 2026

TOKYO, Aug 20 (Bernama) -- The Japan Maritime Daily (JMD), Japan’s leading maritime newspaper, will host an international seminar in Singapore on Monday, October 5, 2026. Supported by Singapore Exchange (SGX), the event will focus on “Emerging Transport Demands,” examining major shipping initiatives and the future of maritime transport through presentations and a panel discussion.

The keynote address will be delivered by Till Ole Barrelet, CEO of Ocean Network Express (ONE). Kenneth Ng, Director of SGX Group, will also give a presentation, while Roslan Khasawneh, Principal Heavy Distillates Analyst at Kpler, will speak on “How Geopolitical Disruption Is Reshaping Asian Shipping.”
