Egypt Saudi Arabia Reaffirm Need For Comprehensive Settlement Based On Two-State Solution
CAIRO, Sept 16 (NNN-WAFA) -- Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reaffirmed on Tuesday the need for a just and comprehensive settlement based on the two-state solution and international legitimacy, Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported, citing Egypt’s Statet Information Service.
The leaders made their statement during a meeting in Cairo as part of Saudi Arabia Crown Prince’s working visit to Egypt.
The two leaders affirmed the convergence of Egyptian and Saudi positions on the Palestinian cause and stressed the need to implement the obligations of the second phase of the United States (US) President’s peace plan and UN Security Council Resolution 2803.
It is also while ensuring the delivery of sufficient quantities of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and putting an end to Israeli violations in the genocide-stricken Gaza Strip, the occupied West Bank, and East Jerusalem.
