Cindy Crawford’s Son Presley Gerber Dead At 27

LONDON, Sept 21 (NNN-PA Media/dpa) -- Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber and the brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber, has died aged 27, PA Media/dpa reported.

He died in a rehab facility on September 20, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner medical records.

The cause of death was not disclosed.

Gerber, who was the eldest child of the celebrity couple, was signed by IMG Models when he was 15.

He made his catwalk debut in 2016 at Moschino’s Resort show in Los Angeles.

Gerber also modelled for brands including Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, and Bottega Veneta.

He spoke frequently about his struggles with depression and substance abuse.

In 2019, he was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to complete a DUI programme, as well as two days of community service.

Socialite Paris Hilton was among those paying tribute to Presley.

Writing on Instagram, she said: “I’m completely heartbroken, I still can’t believe this is real.

“Presley, you were such a beautiful soul. So sweet, sensitive, kind and genuine. I cared about you so much, And I’m going to miss you more than words can say... My heart is with your entire family during this unimaginable time. Rest in peace, my friend. Love you forever. You will be so deeply missed.”
