SIVP: LUXEED’s Answer to Intelligent Parking in Every Scenario

WUHU, China, Oct 20 (Bernama) -- Chery Group’s LUXEED Global Media Test Drive concluded on October 20 with a live demonstration of Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP), which impressed participating media with its ability to navigate complex parking environments. The demonstration showcased how LUXEED’s intelligent parking technology handles a range of challenging scenarios, from autonomous parking to vehicle summoning.

Built on environmental perception, local path planning and vehicle motion control, SIVP enables LUXEED vehicles to navigate parking facilities at low speeds, detect and avoid obstacles, identify available parking spaces, search for spaces autonomously and execute parking maneuvers without driver intervention. The system also supports remote vehicle summoning via a mobile device, allowing the vehicle to navigate from its parking space to a designated pickup point.
