3 Dead After Sleeper Bus Overturns In Central Vietnam

HANOI, Aug 31 (NNN-Xinhua) -- Three people were killed after a sleeper bus carrying 33 people lost control and overturned on a bypass section of National Highway 19 in Vietnam's central province of Gia Lai early Monday morning, reported Xinhua quoting local media VnExpress.

The accident occurred in Hoi Phu Ward, leaving many passengers injured, according to the report.

Around 20 people involved in the accident were taken to hospital for emergency treatment, the report added.

Local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
