Philippine VP Sara Duterte Posts Bail After Arrest Order

MANILA, Sept 5 (NNN-Xinhua) -- Philippine Vice President Sara Duterte on Saturday posted bail of 360,000 pesos (about US$5,760) in her grave threats case, according to local media, reported Xinhua.

The Quezon City Regional Trial Court lifted the arrest warrant against the vice president.

On Friday, the court ordered her arrest on three counts of grave threats over remarks in which she said she had spoken to someone who would kill President Ferdinand Marcos Jr, his wife, Liza Araneta-Marcos, and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez if she herself were killed.
