College Of Radiology Backs Digital-Health Push, Urges Full Integration Of Medical Imaging

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 9 (Bernama) -- The College of Radiology, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia, welcomes the Government’s RM1 billion investment to strengthen digital infrastructure across 150 hospitals and 2,000 health clinics nationwide.

For radiology, however, meaningful digitalisation must extend beyond the electronic storage of clinical notes and written reports. Medical images themselves are an essential part of the patient’s health record.
